Hello, my name is Amber and I was born in Harford county Maryland on March 15 1991. Growing up I was very shy and did not talk much but I loved drawing and sewing so that became my hobby. When I first moved to Pa in 2004 it was a little bit of a culture shock. I was used to being able to walk to 7'11 and having the convenience of everything always being open and near. At first we found the Amish very strange. Why do these people have a horse and buggy on the road? I soon found myself in love with the people and the breathtaking nature that surrounded me. I attended Penn Manor High School and enjoyed a successful High School education where I participated in lots of charities and community activities. I am now here at Millersville working on a degree in Biology and Medical Technologies. I am also hoping to start a Sertoma collegial group here at Millersville in the future. I love to give back to the community and I look forward to contributing to society.
